The mission of the SPI Molders Division is to develop and promote the advancement of the plastics

• Communicating within and outside the industry.
• Establishing specifications and guidelines on business, technical and skills issues.
• Acting as a spokesperson for molders to public and governmental bodies to promote the growth and image of plastics.

Objectives

The Molders Division offers these objectives:

• Provide an exclusive opportunity for executives from the molding industry to interact and exchange ideas.
• Educate members in the latest management techniques.
• Provide leadership in policy issues related to molding through its liaison with private or government organizations, while promoting the responsible advancement of the industry and its employees.
• Establish specifications and guidelines on business, technical and skills issues.
• Encourage molders' use of good manufacturing practices and compliance with recognized standards of performance.
• Coordinate with other SPI divisions to develop responsible safety standards and guidelines.
